About Bridget:
An Educator- In 1991 Bridget piloted a program for Corona-Norco Unified School District to assist first generation, low income students in their preparation for college. The program, AVID, grew from 35 students to 240 students in the 18 years Bridget was at its helm. During this time Bridget successfully shepherded over 420 high school seniors through the college admissions process.
In 1994 Bridget began her counseling practice with individual students while continuing to coordinate the AVID program. Retired from teaching, she now works exclusively as a college admissions consultant. She regularly makes presentations to parent groups and is a trainer in college counseling techniques to AVID teachers and coordinators.

Bridget holds a University of California Certificate in College Counseling and regularly attends college admissions conferences and trainings to keep updated on the ever-changing world of college admissions.
A Professional- Bridget is a member of IECA, Independent Educational Consultants Association, HECA, Higher Education Consultants Association, and WACAC, Western Association of College Admissions Counselors. Bridget travels extensively, visiting and touring colleges and universities throughout California and the United States. She regularly researches and personally visits colleges and universities, and keeps in touch with admissions officials to learn as much as she can about what makes each college special.
